Benardino Gomez is a Dominican designer who formally entered the world of fashion just four years ago. He completed his fashion design studies at the LAIÉ School of Art in Santiago, Dominican Republic, in mid-2021. Since then, he has continued to train in all aspects of the industry through additional courses and workshops, staying updated on trends, techniques, and materials to elevate his work daily.
With only four years in the industry, he has already participated in the most important fashion events in the Dominican Republic, as well as in Orlando at the Orlando International Fashion Week, in Puerto Rico at the Luxury International Fashion Week, and now in New Jersey at the New Jersey Fashion Fest, with an upcoming showcase in Uruguay at Arte y Moda Uruguay Fashion International. In his home country, he was nominated by the Dominican Fashion Awards as one of the best emerging designers of 2023. In 2024, at the Miss Mundo Latina USA pageant, his design won the award for “Best Evening Gown of the Night,” and the model wearing it was crowned the new Miss Mundo Latina USA.
